In the fall of 2020, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts presented a unique live theatrical experience titled, “Inheritance: A Work in Progress,” a work of devised theater exploring timely themes of isolation, racism, police brutality, identity, relationships and mental health. The piece puts the audience as voyeurs into the private lives six individuals to examine who we all are and what we struggle with privately in our own homes. It was presented following COVID safety guidelines outdoors in the courtyard of the historic Brookstown Inn, in Winston Salem, NC.
